Here you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our escape rooms in Zug.
Whether you’re playing for the first time, planning a team event or looking to book spontaneously – we’ve gathered all the key information for you.

No, not necessarily. While we do recommend playing The Ticking Heart first and then The Revenge, both games can be played independently of each other. The Revenge takes place several months after The Ticking Heart.

ChatGPT:

All our escape rooms are bilingual: German and English. You can select the language when booking.

Our at-home game The Case of Uncle Herbert is currently only available in German.

You can find all information about larger events under Events.

Please arrive on time for your booked slot. For example, if your game starts at 5:00 PM, please arrive exactly at 5:00 PM. Arriving earlier is not necessary, and we cannot guarantee early entry.

If you arrive late, we may have to shorten your playing time accordingly.

We reserve your booking exclusively for you, which means cancellations involve effort and loss on our part. Therefore, we kindly ask you to cancel only in case of an emergency. According to our terms and conditions, cancellations are free of charge up to 72 hours before your scheduled time. If you cancel within 72 hours or do not show up, the full booking price will be charged. If you are unable to attend yourself, you may transfer the booking to friends or family.

No, you don’t need any prior knowledge. Our puzzles are designed to be solved through logical thinking, dexterity, and good team communication.

However, good language skills are required! All team members should have a good command of either German or English.

ChatGPT:

Our escape rooms are generally not wheelchair accessible, as many of our sets were not designed for full accessibility. However, for The Ticking Heart and The Revenge, it is possible to guide affected players through a special route. Yagami’s Contract is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

If you have specific requirements, please contact us in advance so we can check together if and how participation is possible.

No, you will not actually be locked in. The main door you enter through always remains unlocked, and in an emergency, you can leave the room at any time through this door.

In our game The Revenge, you will be handcuffed at the start. But don’t worry – the handcuffs are attached to carabiners, so you can easily release yourself at any time without a key.

Sometimes there are situations where a door closes behind you. Some of these doors are secured with magnetic locks. In this case, a magnet keeps the door closed while the circuit is active. In an emergency, you can simply press the emergency button next to the door – this will interrupt the circuit and the door will open immediately. Additionally, all magnetic locks automatically release in the event of a power outage.

Our escape rooms are designed to offer exciting and immersive experiences, but never to create a real feeling of being trapped. The main door you enter through always remains unlocked and can be opened at any time in an emergency.

If you suffer from claustrophobia, we recommend contacting us in advance. We can tell you more about the rooms and help you decide which game is best suited for you.

ChatGPT:

Please arrive sober for your escape room adventure. Our puzzles require full concentration and focus so you can enjoy the best possible experience. Alcohol or other substances can impair not only your own gameplay but also that of your teammates.

Because fair and safe play for everyone is important to us, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In this case, no refund will be issued. Thank you for your understanding.

You can find all information about children’s birthday parties under Events.

The prices for children are the same as for adults.

Due to the general increase in costs, we are also forced to adjust our prices. The new prices will take effect on October 12, 2025.
All games booked before October 12, 2025 – regardless of the play date or payment status – will of course still be charged at the old prices.

For gift vouchers, the printed value always applies, not the number of players.
Example: A voucher for “2 players” with a value of CHF 118.– can of course still be redeemed. The new price for two players is CHF 150.–, so the voucher will be credited with CHF 118.– and the difference can be paid either when booking or on site.
